Jeff began working as a consultant for Spika in 2013 and joined the company full-time in 2014 as a Special Projects Consultant and Engineer. He has previously served as President and owner of KELLA Enterprises, LLC, a technical and strategic consulting firm, and as President and CEO of a $25 million/year diversified engineering and technology company.
Jeff has 33 years of experience in mechanical engineering, large project/program management, business development, and corporate management. He has worked in the nuclear, semiconductor, power, and environmental technology industries. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree and a Master’s of Science degree in Engineering Science from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology and is a registered professional engineer.
In 2002 Jeff was appointed by the Secretary of Commerce and the U.S Trade Representative to the Department of Commerce, Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Small and Minority Businesses (ITAC-11) to provide input on trade issues. He served as chairman of that committee from March 2010 to December 2011.
He has previously served as president of the Butte Chapter of the Montana Society of Engineers; president of the Montana Society of Engineers; Montana delegate to the National Society of Professional Engineers; board member for the Montana Chamber of Commerce; advisory board member of the Montana World Trade Center; and as a Montana Ambassador. He is an alumni of Leadership Montana, and has received several awards, including the 1997 Montana Tech Alumni Recognition Award and the 2001 Southwest Montana area Engineer of the Year Award.
Although Jeff is from California, he’s been granted Montana citizenship and enjoys fishing. When not working, Jeff spends his time with his wife of 37 years, Cindy, and his granddaughter Ashlynn.
