The AH-1Z Zulu Wrap-Around Platform supports access to, and inspection and maintenance of, the AH-1Z and other similarly sized aircraft. Manufactured primarily from 6061 and 6063 aluminum, the system provides access to the cockpit, fuselage, and tail. The system has 24” of manual height adjustability and removable guardrails that utilize Spika’s fully-captured, tool-free camlock bolting system. Sliders conform to the side of the aircraft, and accordion rails provide fall protection even with sliders fully extended. The staircase easily repositions in a variety of locations, either parallel or perpendicular to the deck. Link bars are used to connect multiple deck modules together as a system. Impact foam on the leading edge of the platform, as well as under the deck, keeps both personnel and equipment safe.

Upgrade from manual to electric actuation. Supplied via a 12V battery or 110V power cord, or any other voltage requested. Spika’s synchronized actuators ensure uneven loads raise and lower at the same rate.
Vertically adjustable handrails lower to 28″ to accommodate overhead interferences without being removed, while horizontally adjustable rails extend to cover gaps.
Rail mounted, removable trays for working at a comfortable level where needed and fold away when not needed, standard 9″ x 36″ or customized to specifications.
